Regarding the Champagne Philipponnat Réserve Perpétuelle Non Dosé
Limpid and uncompromising, Réserve Perpétuelle "Non Dosé" expresses the unvarnished quality of Philipponnat's non-vintage blends. Indeed, the wine of the year is added to those of previous years to offer greater complexity to the wine, while retaining the freshness brought by the new vintage.
Champagne Réserve Perpétuelle Non Dosé is made from a majority of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. The blend is mainly made from Pinots Noirs (66%), complemented by 32% Chardonnay and 2% Meunier, 56% of which come from previous harvests aged in wood barrels. The absence of sugar highlights the balance between freshness, vinosity and purity.
After three years' ageing, this finely frothed champagne reveals notes of hawthorn and vine flowers on the nose. On the palate, the attack is pure and straightforward, revealing citrus aromas. The finish is beautifully long.
In gastronomy, it ensures that even minimal residual sugar never disturbs the natural tastes of the cuisine, making it a fresh aperitif that goes perfectly with raw fish and seafood.
Réserve Perpétuelle Non Dosé expresses all its vivacity within 6 to 18 months of disgorgement. This wine can also be aged for several years. This champagne comes in a gift box.
