Champagne JOSEPH PERRIER
Our house was founded in 1825 by Joseph PERRIER.
Still in the family for 5 generations, it is now run by Jean-Claude FOURMON. The last house in Châlons-en-Champagne, the cellars are cut into the chalk on the hillside. These single-storey Gallo-Roman galleries house skylights and a reflector to bring in daylight.
Joseph Perrier owns a magnificent 21-hectare vineyard, located in the heart of the Champagne region, on the right bank of the Marne Valley, around Hautvillers and Cumières, 2 villages with a 93% crus classification, planted mainly with Pinots Noirs, but also with 2 hectares of Chardonnay.
Each Joseph PERRIER cuvée is the result of great mastery and the desire to share a unique expression. In addition to the Cuvées Royales, a distinction awarded by Queen Victoria and King Edward VII to Joseph Perrier cuvées, the House has created precious and rare vintages and made the Josephine cuvée, inspired by the first name of Joseph Perrier's daughter, the flagship of its expertise. The Cellar Master is its faithful creator and guarantor. A craftsman at heart, Joseph Perrier conveys his quest for perfect balance through his wines.
Proud of his free spirit and attached to his unique place, Joseph Perrier has been the sole ambassador of Grand Châlons-en-Champagne since 1825.
