BENOIT LAHAYE Champagne
The Lahaye family domain is located in Bouzy, classified as Grand Cru. Its vineyard measures 4.5 hectares of land in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Tauxières, mainly Pinot Noir variety.
Soils are partly plowed by horse, and the champagne House make their own compost. The soil treatments are only based on herbal teas, copper, sulfur and essential oils. The whole domain is organic.
In order for the cuvées to develop their full potential, it is recommended to open the bottle 15 to 20 minutes prior to tasting. The ideal temperature is 8 to 10°C in summer, and 10 to 12°C in winter.
