PERRIER-JOUET Champagne
This family house, founded in Epernay in 1811, is ranked 19th in the Top 50 Champagnes in the “Revue du Vin de France” magazine. In 1854, Perrier-Jouët decided to develop the reputation of his champagne abroad, particularly in England, where he quickly became the official supplier of the Court of England and the Queen Victoria.
Since then, the Cuvée de Prestige of Perrier-Jouët has become one of the most popular in the world and especially in the U.S. After being bought in 2001 by Allied Domecq Group, the world's # 2 wine and spirits, the champagne house Perrier-Jouet is bought in 2005 by the Pernod Ricard Group.
The genius idea of this house dates back in 1902, when the champagne house asked to a famous glass artist to decorate a magnum which was later on forgotten. This is the Cuvée de Prestige of the champagne house Perrier-Jouët: Belle Epoque. True Art Nouveau work of art, the bottle decorated with white anemones, roses enamelled with gold-rimmed became the emblem of Perrier-Jouët.
Perrier-Jouët champagnes are crafted with a high proportion of Chardonnay, giving them lightness, elegance and refinement. Their prestigious heritage is the guarantee of the quality and excellence of this great name in the Champagne region.
The Perrier Jouet champagne range available for sale is composed of the Grand Brut champagne, the champagne Belle Epoque and the champagne Belle Epoque Rosé.
