Regarding the Champagne Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque blanc de blancs 2012
The quintessential expression of Chardonnay, Perrier-Jouët's Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2012 is the cuvée of a single terroir, a single year and a single grape variety. Only two parcels of old Cramant vines go into its composition. This makes it one of the rarest and most exclusive champagnes in the world.
And 2012 is certainly one of the best in recent years! The famous anemone bottle, designed by Emile Gallé, is transparent and highlights this refined and elegant champagne.
The color is pale, the nose delicate and refined, revealing aromas of white flowers and white flesh fruits. In the mouth, the attack is both delicate and frank, with a touch of white pepper.
A wine for gastronomy, it will be perfect with noble seafood such as lobster, scallops in carpaccio, sea bass in a salt crust or even ceps.
