Its third place in the Top 50 Champagnes in the Revue du Vin de France behind Krug and Bollinger confirms the quality of the champagne house. The tasters made of the champagne Jacquesson a reference.
Founded in 1798, this small champagne house has never increased the amounts of its production despite its success. Indeed, with an annual production of 350,000 bottles, this champagne house uses methods of non-industrial development dedicated to the highest standard of quality.
This champagne was the favorite of Napoleon 1st who’s awarded it the gold medal in 1810 for the beauty and richness of its cellars. The Jacquesson house adopted what the champagne house described as a "revolutionary concept of Brut Champagne without years" by offering its Cuvée No. 728. This is according to the house "the first champagne without year favoring excellence rather than regularity." Thus, instead of reducing variations in terms of quality found in each vintage, the champagne house Jacquesson offers the new Champagne Brut in engaging the challenge of finding the best blend possible each year! Moreover, if the vintage series of "Signature" dominates champagnes, the other cuvées are caraterized by regularity with Champagne Brut, Champagne rosé, vintage Champagne Rose, and Champagne Blanc de Blancs vintage.
Finally, some champagne are available in magnum or Jeroboam.
