Regarding the Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 749 jéroboam
Maison Jacquesson's Jeroboam 749 is a fine Extra-Brut Champagne (2g/l), made from 72% Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers and Champillon terroirs and 28% Avize and Oiry.
Cuvée 749 is fine, elegant and pleasantly vinous. Chardonnays dominate the composition of this champagne, complemented by Meunier, Pinot Noir and 28% reserve wines (from Cuvées 748 to 743 except 745). Chardonnay aromas dominate, with citrus fruit, white flowers and subtle toasty notes. The reserve wines add texture and fullness to this precise, iodized and salivating champagne. The aromas of Pinot Noir are evident on the palate. A fine, complex, taut champagne with excellent ageing potential.
The 749 is a great champagne, which you can enjoy as an aperitif, with shellfish, poultry or even sheep's milk cheese. It's a wine that unites all the Domaine's parcels, and is offered for two different aging periods, with the second disgorgement taking place 5 years later for a second release under the name Cuvée 700 Dégorgement Tardif, which you can find on the site.
Maison Jacquesson's Jeroboam 749 comes in a wooden shipping case.
