Regarding the Champagne Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Rosé 2013 in Limited Edition 120 years
Produced only in great years, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé stands out as a rare cuvée within the range. The 2013 vintage is an atypical, original year, which gave birth to a very great rosé champagne that is both generous and lively, subtle and delicate.
The 2013 Cuvée combines the elegance of the Chardonnays with the richness of the Pinots Noirs from Mailly, Ay, Verzy and Rilly mixed with the roundness of the red fruits from the Pinots Meuniers from Dizy. Finally, the Pinots Noirs vinified in red (11%) from Vertus and Vincelles give this Cuvée its subtle pinkish nuances.
Aged in the cellar for 6 years and with a dosage of 8 grams per liter, this blend reveals itself through each of its nuances.
To the eye, the robe is a beautiful salmon pink. On the nose, we discover floral notes, strawberry and kumquat. The mouth reveals aromas of mandarin and grapefruit.
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a meal with salmon or cooked tuna, or duck breast.
This rare 2013 Rosé Belle Epoque Champagne from PERRIER JOUET comes in its own sublime limited edition box. To celebrate the 120th anniversary of Emile Gallé's iconic illustration of anemones, Perrier-Jouët called on designers Katharina Mischer and Thomas Traxler to create a sublime limited edition box that overlays 70 species found in the vineyards in Champagne.
