BOLLINGER Champagne
Ranked 1st among the champagne houses in the “Revue du Vin de France” magazine, Champagne Bollinger is a perfect example of a quality house champagne producing champagne characterized with strong vinosity style.
This champagne house offers for sale great champagnes able to defy the years with confidence and to establish itself for an aperitif or meal both. Mainly based on the Pinot Noir, it gives soul its champagne.
The champagne house Bollinger proposes for sale old vintages, including “La grande année”, only produced in exceptional years. The champagnes are produced in oak barrels before being blended, and kept in a cellar under cork for at least 5 years. “Grande année 1996” was certainly a vintage that was a milestone in the heyday of the champagne Bollinger house, because all the qualities of Bollinger champagne are here magnified!
Champagnes “RD” (standing for “Recently Disgorged”) are also part of old vintages.
This is the same blend as the Grande année but kept for at least 8 years. The RD is a unique champagne in the Champagne region and a true tasting experience from the Bollinger style.
Finally, the ”Cuvée spéciale”, a blend of high quality, thanks to its conservation in magnums are kept from 5 to 10 years. The Cuvée spéciale is the most representative expression of the Bollinger style.
