Regarding the Champagne Bollinger Grande Année 2015
Bollinger's prestige cuvée: Grande Année 2015 is finally available! Only the very finest harvests are vintage at Bollinger, and 2015 has produced a generous, concentrated champagne.
It is composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with vinification made in small barrels to encourage the development of extremely fine aromas. La Grande Année 2015 has rested in the cellar twice as long as the appellation's rules require.
To the eye, the color reveals golden highlights, a sign of the wine's maturity, but also of Bollinger's winemaking methods. The highly expressive nose initially reveals aromas of plum, apple and a touch of honey, gradually giving way to aromas of red fruits. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and fleshy. It is generous and greedy, with aromas of jam and chocolate, ending on a tangy finish. A marvel...
La Grande Année 2015 is a gastronomic champagne par excellence. It's the perfect accompaniment to roast duck breast, pan-fried foie gras or cantal, and for dessert, chocolate cream.
You can enjoy Bollinger's Grande Année 2015 now, or choose to let it age in your cellar...But it will be hard to resist the temptation!
