Regarding the Champagne Philipponnat Le Léon 2014
It has been aged for at least seven years to achieve the wine’s full complexity and bring out the secondary and tertiary aromas, hallmarks of extended aging on the lees.
The bubbles are fine and creamy; the fruity nose opens with notes of black fruit and evolves into hints of cinnamon. On the palate, the attack is creamy and rich. The finish is long and mineral.
You can serve this Blanc de Noirs champagne chilled (around 8–9°C) as an aperitif or at 10–12°C with a meal. It pairs wonderfully with seafood or Bellota ham. You can cell it for up to 10 years!

Champagne Philipponnat
