Champagne Philipponnat Mareuil sur Aÿ 2014 75cl

Regarding the Champagne Philipponnat Mareuil sur Aÿ 2014

The bubbles are fine, and the nose is expressive and intense, with aromas of yellow fruit. The palate is intense, revealing tropical fruit aromas and a fresh, lingering finish.

This cuvée is dosed as Extra-Brut (4.5 g/L) to maintain a balance between freshness and vinosity and to avoid masking the wine’s character and purity.

It has aged for at least seven years to achieve greater complexity and bring out the secondary and tertiary aromas, hallmarks of extended aging on the lees.

You can serve this Blanc de Noirs champagne chilled (around 8 to 9°C) as an aperitif or at around 10 to 12°C with a meal, where it pairs well with white meats, game birds, or soft cheeses.

You can cell it for up to 10 years!
