Regarding the Champagne Philipponnat Royale Réserve Jéroboam
PHILIPPONNAT's Royale Réserve champagne is the purest expression of the House's style. It is made from a majority of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus grapes and from 20 to 30% of old reserve wines aged in wood for 3 years, much longer than the legal minimum of 15 months. It is the result of a complex blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier. It is a champagne that offers a beautiful amplitude with a nice matter. The whole is quite supple and remains fresh and succeeds in combining greediness, freshness and vinosity.
It offers to the nose aromas of honeyed orchard fruits, dried white flowers, fresh peach and butter. Once in mouth, the attack is frank with flavors of mirabelle plum and citrus fruits, to arrive on a well defined finish of cookie.
This Royal Reserve is a champagne for all occasions, to be served chilled but not iced (8°C). It will be perfect as an aperitif, but also with white meats, poultry, smoked salmon, carpaccio of scampi, and seafood.
The Cuvée Royale Réserve from Philipponnat is offered to you in jeroboam in its wooden case of transport.
