Regarding the Champagne Drappier Grande Sendrée 2012
La Grande Sendrée 2012 is DRAPPIER's Cuvée de Prestige, a rare champagne that offers us the finest expression of a terroir and a great vintage.
It is a wonderful champagne made only in great years! Made from very old vines from a small plot (55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay), the freshness is enhanced by a low dosage (4g/l). It surprises by its finesse and its powerful aromas, its elegance and its complexity.
It took ten years of rest in the cellar to let all the complexity of this cuvée express itself... The tasting is marked by notes of currants and cherries, signs of a dominant Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay brings aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers, with a slightly spicy finish.
The bottle, a reproduction of an 18th century bottle, is really splendid. Perfect now, the Grande Sendrée 2012 is a champagne that can also be left in the cellar for a few years.
The Grande Sendrée 2012 of DRAPPIER will accompany you from the aperitif to the meal, with a crayfish swim with grapefruit, a carpaccio of scallops, or a Bresse poultry truffled with cream...
