Regarding the Champagne Drappier Millésime Exception 2012 Jéroboam
The champagne Millesime Exception 2012 from DRAPPIER is an exceptional vintage which expresses both freshness and maturity, complexity and richness.
This Cuvée is produced only in the great years and 2012 is one of them. A third of the base cuvée is aged in oak casks and then left on fine lees for 6 months before the fermentation. The wines are then assembled and kept on slats for 6 years.
A superb, very balanced, complex and deep cuvée. The extreme finesse of the bubble reveals an intense nose with aromas of white fruits, quince, almond and ginger. The palate is just as rich with floral, vanilla and brioche notes typical of Chardonnay, but also the aromas of red fruits of Pinot noir present at 60%.
In Jeroboam, the bottle is spectacular. Each bottle has the vintage molded into the glass, guaranteeing the authenticity of the chosen vintage.
It will go perfectly with a sea bass in a salt crust, foie gras toast, roasted langoustines. A rare and high class cuvée!
