This Carte d'Or cuvée is the very expression of the Drappier Style. This cuvée expresses all the aromas of the noble grape variety Pinot Noir. This in fact constitutes 80% of the Blend.

On the nose, the bouquet is sweet and quickly gives away to aromas of stone fruits. On the palate, the ensemble is immediately vinous, dominated by ripe fruits. The natural freshness is only lightly clothed by a discreet dosage, ensuring a finish of great length. As it continues to mature, the Carte d'Or will surprise you in the next coming years.

The yellow and gold label, created in 1952, is the distinctive sign of a rich, delicious, and beautifully fresh cuvée. An excellent value for money rating for this Mathusalem of champagne Carte d'Or from DRAPPIER, sold in its shipping wooden case.

This family business prefers authenticity and uses very little sulfur. It has also created a sulphur-free cuvée: the Cuvée Brut Nature without sulphite.

The strong presence of Pinot Noir gives birth to powerful, vinous champagnes that seduced General De Gaulle in 1965. To pay tribute to him, Drappier has dedicated the Cuvée Charles De Gaulle to him. It is also the only House to offer for sale all sizes of champagne bottles: from the quarter bottle to the Melchisedec (30 liters)!
