This Carte d'Or cuvée is the very expression of the Drappier Style. This cuvée expresses all the aromas of the noble grape variety Pinot Noir. This in fact constitutes 80% of the Blend.
On the nose, the bouquet is sweet and quickly gives away to aromas of stone fruits. On the palate, the ensemble is immediately vinous, dominated by ripe fruits. The natural freshness is only lightly clothed by a discreet dosage, ensuring a finish of great length.
As it continues to mature, the Carte d'Or will surprise you in the next coming years. The yellow and gold label, created in 1952, is the distinctive sign of a rich, delicious, and beautifully fresh cuvée.

CHAMPAGNE DRAPPIER The history of the walls today inhabited by the DRAPPIER Family goes back to the 12th century when Saint Bernard had an annex to Clairvaux Abbey built in Urville. The vineyard which today surrounds these Cistercian cellars is the pride of our House. Cultivated in way as natural as possible, the vineyard gives life to grapes rich in complex aromas which al low the making of Champagnes with well established characters housed in exceptional bottles.
