Regarding the Champagne Louis Roederer Collection 247
Driven by an ever-increasing commitment to quality and sustainable winemaking practices, Maison ROEDERER has created the Collection 247 cuvée. The name “247” refers to the House’s 247th blend.
Roederer Collection 247 Champagne is made from the 2022 harvest, blended with 27% wines from the perpetual reserve (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) as well as 5% reserve wines aged in oak.
Each year, this multi-vintage champagne is crafted—unique yet always true to the “Roederer style”! This blend is characterized by the sunny character, richness, intensity, and generosity of the base year, while retaining the natural tension of the Champagne chalk found in the Réserve Perpétuelle. It is the opposite of 2021!
Composed of 44% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 26% Meunier, it is the perfect cuvée to discover this great House. On the nose, it’s an explosion of aromas of pears, mirabelle plums, and white flowers, accompanied by a few spicy notes as it breathes. On the palate, it’s fresh, full-bodied, and indulgent, with a hint of bitterness and a briny finish.
Louis Roederer Collection 247 champagne is perfect as an aperitif, but also pairs well with meals, particularly fish or shellfish.
Each bottle from the 247 Collection comes in a stunning gift box.
