The 2017 vintage Blanc de Blancs cuvée, from the Maison Louis Roederer is a pure, fine, brilliant wine. The Chardonnays were selected from the "La Côte" parcel of the Avize terroir classified as Grand Cru. Depending on the vintage, between 15 and 20% of the Chardonnays are vinified in oak barrels, then the totality is aged in cellars for 5 years.

The nose is intense and delicate, with notes of candied citrus fruits, juicy white fruits and grilled dried fruits. The mouth is full of nuances and subtlety. Light and airy, it reveals itself on notes of dried fruits, ripe pear and caramel. A wine that combines freshness and maturity.

A length and a concentration that make it a simply elegant and wonderful Champagne to be served with shellfish, cheese soufflé, fish dishes, raw fish, or shellfish.

Still family-owned since 1776, Maison Louis Roederer boasts a vineyard of 420 exceptional plots covering 244 hectares, 70% of which are classified as Grand Cru.

The vineyard is extremely diverse, and a renaissance viticulture is applied with gentle, virtuous practices inspired by permaculture. A large part of the estate has already been converted to organic farming (it is the largest AB-certified area in Champagne).

Despite the worldwide success of its prestige cuvée, Cristal de Roederer, the company has remained in control of its supply, which is based almost exclusively on its own vineyards.

Already present on the tables of Tsar Nicholas II, Louis Roederer champagne is still synonymous with excellence, and three million bottles are shipped around the world every year. These are great champagnes, harmonious, focused on purity, straightforwardness and a rich aromatic mosaic.
