Regarding the Champagne Louis Roederer Collection 242 Mathusalem
Guided by an ever-increasing commitment to quality and sustainable viticultural practices, Maison Roederer has created the Cuvée Collection. Cuvée Collection 242 represents the House's 242nd blend.
LA cuvée Collection 242 Louis Roederer is made from the 2017 harvest, supplemented by 10% reserve wines aged in wood and derived from parcel selections (2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) as well as 34% of the House's Réserve Perpétuelle (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).
Each year, the multi-millennium champagne is created, both unique but always in the "Roederer style"! Composed of 42% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Noir and 22% Meunier, it's the perfect cuvée to discover this great House. The blend of Collection 242 is based on a dominant of Chardonnays, superb in this 2017 harvest. On the nose, we discover ripe, sweet fruit and woody notes. On the palate, it's generous, velvety and juicy, with plenty of freshness on the finish.
This is the perfect cuvee to discover this great House.
A fine, straightforward, fresh champagne, perfect as an aperitif or with fish or shellfish.
Here we offer you Louis Roederer Collection 242 champagne in a Methuselah, in its wooden carrying case. One Methuselah of Champagne will allow you to serve around fifty flutes (corresponding to 6 liters). Ideal for a great party!
