Collection 243 from LOUIS ROEDERER represents the best choice to discover one of the greatest and most famous Maison de champagne.
Discover the all new Cuvée Brut from Maison ROEDERER : the cuvée Collection. In the endless pursuit of perfection and sustainable methods, Maison ROEDERER created the cuvée Collection 243. 243 stands for the 243rd blend of the Maison.
It is elaborated from the 2018 harvest, and completed with 10% of reserve wines raised in wood casks and sourced from plot’s selections (2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), and 34% of Maison ROEDERER’s perpetual reserve.
This multi-vintage champagne is created every year, it remains unique and is always faithful to the style of Roederer. This cuvée is composed of 42% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Noir and 22% Meunier, it's just the perfect champagne to discover this great Maison de Champagne.
The blend of Collection 243 is mainly based on Chardonnay, which is marvelous for the 2018 harvest. The nose unveils sugared and riped fruits aromas together with woody notes. The palate is generous, voluptuous and juicy, and offers a very fresh final.
As cuvée Collection 243 is extremely fine and fresh, it is perfect for the aperitif. Moreover, its richness matches delicate dishes such as fishes and seashells.
Each bottle is presented in its superb gift box.

Champagne Louis Roederer
Still family-owned since 1776, Maison Louis Roederer boasts a vineyard of 420 exceptional plots covering 244 hectares, 70% of which are classified as Grand Cru.
The vineyard is extremely diverse, and a renaissance viticulture is applied with gentle, virtuous practices inspired by permaculture. A large part of the estate has already been converted to organic farming (it is the largest AB-certified area in Champagne).
Despite the worldwide success of its prestige cuvée, Cristal de Roederer, the company has remained in control of its supply, which is based almost exclusively on its own vineyards.
Already present on the tables of Tsar Nicholas II, Louis Roederer champagne is still synonymous with excellence, and three million bottles are shipped around the world every year. These are great champagnes, harmonious, focused on purity, straightforwardness and a rich aromatic mosaic.
