The Grand Cru Les Bussets Blanc de Blancs Vieilles Vignes champagne from Maison EGLY-OURIET comes from an old Chardonnay vineyard, planted in 1902, in the Les Bussets cru in Verzy.

This 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru is the estate’s first Blanc de Blancs; the estate has historically been renowned for its great Pinot Noir-dominated champagnes. It is made exclusively from the 2018 harvest, and the vineyard from which it comes is exceptional! It is aged entirely in barrels and has a low dosage (1 g/L) to allow the character of the Chardonnay and the minerality of the terroir to shine through.

It is, therefore, a memorable cuvée in every respect: its origin, the exceptional age of its vines, its particularly meticulous production, and the choice of this grape variety.

A long aging period of seven years on racks promotes the development of remarkable aromatic complexity. This great Blanc de Blancs is a rare gastronomic champagne, reserved for special occasions.
