Regarding the Champagne Egly-ouriet Grand Cru les Crayères Blanc de Noirs Vieilles Vignes
The Champagne Grand Cru Les Crayères Blanc de Noirs Vieilles Vignes from EGLY-OURIET comes from an old Pinot Noir vineyard, planted in 1946, on an exceptional chalky terroir and on the place called Les Crayères.
Vinified entirely in barrels, with low dosage, and after having spent more than 3 years in the cellar, this elegant champagne has a very good ageing potential. The nose is of a crazy complexity, with aromas that explode on white fruits, fresh apple, flowers, and nice notes of toasted sesame. The palate is delicate and refined, ending with a long, expansive and lively finish.
Enjoy it with a supreme of farm poultry stuffed with chanterelles, accompanied by a pan of mushrooms and sautéed potatoes, or with grilled lobster after a fennel-flavored court-bouillon, a schnitzel of foie gras.
An exceptional Champagne!
