Regarding the Champagne Egly-ouriet Grand Cru VP Extra-Brut
The ability of Grands Crus to age well is no longer in question. The style of the EGLY-OURIET house encourages them to go in this direction.
Indeed, after 7 years in the cellar, and a vinification for the most part in barrels, the Grand Cru VP Extra-Brut of EGLY-OURIET expresses all its power and elegance with a very low dosage (1 to 2gr per liter).
VP stands for "Vieillissement Prolongé" (prolonged aging) for 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. A champagne with spicy, smoky, dried fruit aromas and a harmonious, rich, vinous and long mouth.
This champagne is simply unforgettable, a little wonder!
Refined and elegant, the Grand Cru VP Extra-Brut will be perfect with salty and refined dishes. To be enjoyed as an aperitif or with shellfish and desserts.

The EGLY-OURIET Champagne House, located in Ambonnay on 12 hectares, is a family house running for four generations. Small by its production (about 100 000 bottles per year), and big by the exceptional quality of its champagnes.
All the champagnes of this house spend at least 3 years in the cellar before being sold, thus increasing their complexity and ensuring a better potential of ageing.
