Regarding the Champagne Egly-ouriet Brut Grand Cru Rosé Magnum
The richness of this Grand Cru Rosé from EGLY-OURIET, comes from the concentration of the wine, but also, from a still sensitive ageing in barrels (for 40%).
All the champagnes of this house spend at least 3 years in cellar, and this Grand Cru Rosé has aged 5 years on lees before being marketed, which allows to increase its complexity and to ensure a better potential of aging. The dosage is very low, or even non-existent. The champagnes thus gain in purity and complexity.
A very nice rosé champagne made from 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay. On the nose it is an elegant champagne, with notes of rose and red fruits. The mouth is of a rare finesse and offers a nice roundness, with notes of wild berries and red fruits.
Enjoy it with fruit desserts, or with vanilla, citrus and coconut, this champagne in magnum will be even more delicious.
