The main characteristic of this Brut 1er Cru cuvée "Les vignes de Vrigny" from EGLY-OURIET is that it is sourced from old pinot meunier grape vines only. This remarkable champagne is very delicate. This is a great cuvée, alike the champagne house. Every champagne of the house spent at least 3 years in the cellar before being sold, therefore, their aging potential is even better. Sugar dosage is very light, or non-existent. Thus, the champagne increases its purity and complexity. This sublime cuvée deserves being kept in the cellar for a couple of years.

The EGLY-OURIET Champagne House, located in Ambonnay on 12 hectares, is a family house running for four generations. Small by its production (about 100 000 bottles per year), and big by the exceptional quality of its champagnes.
All the champagnes of this house spend at least 3 years in the cellar before being sold, thus increasing their complexity and ensuring a better potential of ageing.
