Regarding the Champagne A.Bergère Les clos
Les Clos de la Maison A.Bergère is a 100% Meunier Extra-Brut parcel cuvée from the Vallée du Petit Morin.
Stemming from an old vineyard planted in 1970, the viticulture practiced is respectful of the environment, in order to best reflect the terroir through each harvest.
Vinification and aging take place partly in oak barrels, to offer greater complexity, and the dosage is very low.
The bubbles are fine, and the nose offers notes of ripe pear. On the palate, this Blanc de Noirs Extra-Brut champagne has an elegant structure with white fruit aromas. The sandy-clay terroir gives this champagne great freshness and acidity, with a taut finish.
Les Clos de la Maison A.Bergère is perfect as an aperitif or with foie gras or grilled white meat. This is a rare champagne. Only 2100 bottles have been produced.

Champagne A.Bergère
The A. Bergère family, who have owned vineyards in Fèrebrianges since 1848, are heirs to a know-how handed down from generation to generation. Founder Albert created the brand in 1949, and his son André grew the estate from 6 to 45 hectares. Today, his children, Annaelle and Adrien, carry on this tradition with a passion for working the vines and their terroirs. The domaine produces champagnes from three historic terroirs: the Vallée du Petit Morin, Côte des Blancs and Sézannais, with a majority of Chardonnay (70%), followed by Pinot Noir (20%) and Meunier (10%).
