The Cuvée Brut Nature "Chouilly" Grand Cru from Maison Lombard was created from Chardonnay cultivated on the clay-limestone soils of Chouilly Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs. This cuvée is part of the “Terroir” range, a plot and mono-crus selection in Brut Nature.

The wines spend four to five years in the cellar, which effectively allows a beautiful expression of the terroir. In the north, the Chardonnays are expressed with roundness and fullness. In the east, they have more minerality and tension. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. The wine was then aged in barrels for six months before being bottled for its second fermentation. Aged between 4 and 5 years, it emerges a pure reflection of the terroir of Chouilly, overflowing with pronounced citrus aromas.

This Champagne is not dosed to appreciate its mineral and fresh citrus identity. The nose is expressive and tasty with delicate and very fine acidic aromas. The very elegant palate is enhanced by the great minerality of Chardonnays de Chouilly and silky citrus fruits. This superb cuvée of remarkable precision and complexity will brilliantly accompany dishes with iodized flavors.
