Regarding the Champagne Lombard Extra Brut Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs
This Champagne Extra Brut Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs from Maison Lombard is part of the Signature range. This 100% Pinot Noir comes from the best terroirs and vineyards of the Montagne de Reims (Chigny-Les-Roses & Rilly-La-Montagne).
The grapes grew on loamy soils and limestone subsoil, which gives this wine chalky notes and a mineral texture. This cuvée is the result of a blend of wines aged in 60% stainless steel vats and 40% in oak barrels. This combination makes it possible to obtain a very nice balance between the freshness provided by the stainless steel tank and the gourmet patina of the barrel.
On the nose, it is a nice bouquet of white peach, apple blossoms, a touch of vanilla and dry chalk offered to us. On the palate, the wine is deep, round, full-bodied and very balanced. Very good length with a charming iodine finish.
This gourmet champagne goes perfectly with terrines, poultry, and shellfish, but also delicious with cheeses such as Chaource or Langres.

Champagne Lombard
Maison LOMBARD is a family estate located in Epernay and created in 1925, with a very Burgundian vision of Champagne. The vineyard is in organic conversion, on the Montagne de Reims Ouest. The cuvées are mono-crus and parcel, produced exclusively from Premier and Grand Cru. All the champagnes are Brut Nature or Extra-Brut, to reveal the identities and expressions of each place with great authenticity.
The family, independent House wishes to express its values in the development of its wines to offer us atypical champagnes representative of their terroirs. A very nice discovery!
