Regarding the Champagne Leclerc Briant Abyss Rosé 2019
Unique! Maison Leclerc Briant, in association with Amphoris, a company specializing in underwater exploitation, has created with the 2019 harvest, the Abyss rosé 2019 cuvée, specifically dedicated to underwater maturation.
The grapes that make up this cuvée, selected from terroirs renowned for their outcropping limestone subsoil, are indeed in perfect resonance with the sedimentary marine subsoil of the Bay of Stiff, close to the coast of Ouessant Island in Brittany.
85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir vinified as red grapes make up this extraordinary cuvée. It is made exclusively from the 2019 harvest, disgorged in July 2022 and immersed for 11 months in October of the same year.
Abyss Rosé 2019 embodies the fusion of marine and telluric energies, containing the solar effects of a generous vintage while letting the fruity substance take over your pleasure.
This champagne is animated by fine, lively bubbles. The nose is beautifully mature, with citrus and iodine notes. On the palate, we discover a creamy effervescence and a frank, refined salinity. The vinosity of this generous 2019 vintage is a real call to pleasure. This Cuvée Rosé Extra-Brut is particularly well-suited to shellfish.
