Regarding the Champagne Gosset Grand Millésime 2016
This Grand Millésime 2016 Gosset champagne is made from 61% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir. This Chardonnay majority lends elegance and finesse to this cuvée. The 4g/l dosage maintains the balance between freshness, fruitiness and vinosity without masking the wine's character and purity.
The pale yellow color reveals great freshness, and the bubbles are extremely fine. The nose reveals aromas of fennel, anise and menthol. After aeration, greedy aromas of nougat and almond appear. On the palate, the attack is elegant with aromas of rhubarb and mirabelle plum. The finish is chiseled, fresh and tangy, with the fine bitters that are the hallmark of grand crus.
This cuvée does not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve the wines' naturally fruity aroma, and ensure perfect conservation.
This vintage 2016 Gosset champagne is the perfect accompaniment to duck with prunes, scallops or rhubarb tart for dessert.

Champagne Gosset
Created in 1584, the Gosset House is the oldest Champagne house. In 2013, the house received the "Living Heritage Company" label. The House of Gosset has created a charter of Excellence Gosset, a real guarantee for lovers of great champagnes.
This House offers champagnes from Grands Crus and 1er Crus, champagnes aged for at least 4 years to offer a quality champagne, both powerful and vinous.
There is no malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the natural aromas of the wines. Another particularity of the House is that it offers its champagnes in superb antique bottles, replicas of those used in the 18th century.
