Regarding the Champagne Gosset Extra-Brut
The Extra-brut cuvée of the Maison Gosset is the result of the blending of the 3 emblematic grape varieties of Champagne, 40% Pinot Noir, 32% Meunier and 28% Chardonnay. Dosed at 4.8 gr/l, the wine has benefited from malolactic fermentation, which is quite rare for the House.
A long maturation of 4 years in cellars brings a great aromatic complexity, clear and frank. White flowers explode, acacia and hawthorn, enhanced by the greediness of pear and apple. The mouth reveals a nice creamy texture and a beautiful vivacity. A fresh champagne which balances its greedy and fruity vinosity on the peach of vine, the mirabelle plum, and the greengage.
A Champagne perfect with small raw vegetables, shrimps, salted cookies or strawberries with cream. It goes with all dishes whatever the occasion, picnic, aperitif, and gastronomy.
