Regarding the Champagne Gosset 12 ans de cave rosé
The champagne 12 ans de cave rosé is composed of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir of which 8% are vinified in red. The House masters with precision the art of ageing, and this rosé shows us all the potential of ageing that a cuvée has to offer, even without vintage.
Close to the qualities of a red wine, this rosé champagne is not dosed much (4.5g/l) in order to keep the balance between the fruitiness, the freshness and the vinosity without masking its character and its purity.
After a rest of at least 12 years on the lees, a disgorging and a further rest of 6 months, this rosé champagne reveals copper colors. The nose offers us notes of dried fig, strawberry and after aeration, black pepper and cherry. In the mouth, the attack is lively and fresh with notes of blood orange, cherry and lemon.
This rare cuvée is intended for lovers of great wines. It will be perfect with orange-glazed duck or a creamy shrimp risotto. It can also accompany a more exotic cuisine with an apricot tagine or a pigeon pastilla or a dessert with orange blossom or rose water.
This prestigious Rosé Extra-Brut champagne is offered in its free elegant case.
