This Champagne "Variation 2018 Brut Nature" from Maison Fleury is a rare 100% Pinot Gris vinified in oak barrels (2200 bottles only).

It's a rare cuvée in many ways, firstly because of the quantity of bottles produced, but also because the Pinot Gris grape variety is so rare in Champagne, and finally because there is no dosage and no added sulfur. This is the first biodynamic Pinot Gris cuvée in Champagne.

Vinification in wood gives the wine power and complexity, which are evident on the nose and palate. Aromas of yellow and exotic fruits. The attack is frank and precise on the palate. It's generous and lingers on a delicate, persistent finish.

This Champagne Variation 2018 Brut Nature will be perfect as an aperitif, or with a veal blanquette.

It will keep for 3 to 5 years.
