Regarding the Champagne Billecart - Salmon N°7 et N°8 Meunier
Always striving for excellence, the Maison Billecart-Salmon Tasting Committee carries out regular experiments, as demonstrated by these two cuvées N°7 and N°8 Meunier from the Maison Billecart-Salmon, allowing you to discover two versions of Meunier, a generous and refined cuvée n°7 and a more sensual cuvée n°8. Both champagnes are the result of a very rigorous selection process focused on the balance of flavors and the purity of fruit.
Champagne N°7 Meunier highlights the Venteuil terroir, and was created on the basis of the 2018 vintage. After a long ageing period of 63 months, this 100% Meunier Extra-Brut (3.5g/l) reveals floral and citrus aromas on the nose. On the palate, generous, gourmet flavors predominate.
You can keep this sublime Blanc de Noirs for at least 5 years, or enjoy it now with clam risotto or chestnut flaky brioche.
Champagne N°8 Meunier, on the other hand, highlights the Leuvrigny terroir, based on the 2018 vintage. After the same long ageing period of 63 months, this 100% Meunier Extra-Brut (3.5g/l) offers aromas of white flowers and pastry notes on the nose. On the palate, it's deliciously smooth and saline, with tangy fruit aromas.
You too can cellar it for at least 5 years, or enjoy it now as an accompaniment to comté gougères or veal pie.
