In Montigny-sous-Châtillon, in the Marne, Faustine and Marc Konrat give birth to gastronomic champagnes of a great precision, on a 7 hectares vineyard. As a passionate winegrower, Marc carries out a plot selection of its grapes certified « Haute Valeur Environnementale » (High Environmental Value) and is on the way to be certified « Organic farming » in the forthcoming years.

The vinification process is undertaken according to the moon calendar in oak casks, tanks and Dame Jeanne, and more recently, in amphorae. Each cuvée benefits from a long raising period in cellars. Marc is convinced that a great wine can only be created from the sanctification of Nature and excellence at each stage of the making process.

The production is 100% French and 99% local, from the vine to the dressing of the bottle. Konrat champagnes are conceived as true “collection champagnes”, fine, elegant and confidential (approximately 5,000 bottles per year).
