Regarding the Champagne Konrat Velours magnum

Cuvée Velours from Maison Konrat is a sweet champagne with a sugar dosage of 60g/l ! A mellow champagne elaborated from a blend of old vines, 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot noir and 10% Meunier, of which 70% of the wines have been raised in oak barrels.

This sweet champagne develops fine and persistent bubbles, while the nose unveils aromas of white pepper and brioche, and even if the sweetness is very present at the end of the mouth, this champagne offers a lot of freshness based on candied citrus. Suave, woody and terribly elegant with its high Chardonnay content, this champagne develops very evolved flavors of pineapple and candied bananas.

A true velvet produced in limited quantities (653 bottles only), and aimed to delight every dessert lovers, with black chocolate truffles and sweet and sour dishes such as a pan-fried foie gras, a mango chutney or blue cheeses.
