Regarding the Champagne De Sousa Cuvée Mycorhize

Don’t wait and discover Cuvée Mycorhize from Maison De Sousa, an exceptional champagne. This Blanc de Blancs cuvée is sourced from a 1 hectare plot of old vines located in the small village of « Les Haut Nemery », in Avize Grand Cru.

It is exclusively elaborated from Chardonnay (with 25% of perpetual reserve) vinified in oak barrels. It's raised using biodynamics methods since 1999, and plowed with horses. Every cuvée results from a long vine work in respect of the nature, and harvested only when the grape reaches a perfect maturity stage.

One’s discover an elegant and mineral champagne with aromas of acacia, lime, honey and raspberry. It can be enjoyed during the aperitif as well as during a meal accompanied by a sole meunière, langoustines or even cheese.

Please note that this champagne is extremely rare : only 3000 bottles were produced. It can be kept during 10 years.

Champagne De Sousa

The De Sousa Champagne House has been in the family for 3 generations. The vineyards cover 14 hectares in the heart of the famous Côte des Blancs, terroirs classified as Grand Cru.

The champagnes are produced in the traditional way, with hand-picked grapes from vines three quarters of which are over 45 years old, giving Maison de Sousa champagnes an extraordinary aromatic richness. The work in the vineyards has always been carried out with respect for nature and the environment, and it was only natural that the House should switch to Biodynamic viticulture in 1999, and be certified organic in 2010.
