Regarding the Champagne Pierre Gimonnet Le Fleuron 2019
The Fleuron 2019 remains the traditional vintage of the House PIERRE GIMONNET & FILS, characterized by a strong and elegant vinosity. It is a 100% Chardonnay resulting from a great work of blending of the various soils and "lieux-dits" of the House.
It is a complex and precise blend of 73% Grand Cru and 27% 1er Cru, which is essential to bring freshness and superior ageing potential. 2019 blend is as follows: 43.6% Chouilly Grand Cru, 23.8% Cramant Grand Cru, 4.8% Oger Grand Cru, 21.4% Cuis 1er cru, 6.2% Vertus 1er cru. It's an addition of the qualities of the different terroirs and "lieux-dits" of the domain, in a constant search for harmony and balance.
After an ageing of more than 4 years on lees and a dosage of 5g/l, this 100% Côte des Blancs is still the best quality-price-pleasure ratio of the range!
It is a great Blanc de Blancs, both complex and balanced, with a great mineral freshness and very elegant.

Champagne Pierre Gimonnet
In the world of champagnes, there is a true "Pierre Gimonnet" signature. It is refined, elegant, wise, never exuberant. This style is the creation of Michel Gimonnet in 1935, the father of Olivier and Didier Gimonnet who are now in charge of the 28 hectares of Chardonnay, classified Grand Cru and Premier Cru.
Over the years, they have succeeded in sublimating the House's wines. The brothers, in love with their terroir, perpetuate a timeless wine style, based on freshness and aromatic finesse. Unique and prized "Grands Blancs".
