Breaking with convention, the bottle has no front label: The G.H. Mumm signature and eagle emblem are printed in gold directly on the glass. Another striking feature of the design is its shape, which necessitates a whole series of innovations to the traditional champagne production process

The most eye-catching feature of the Mumm Grand Cordon bottle is its reinterpretation of the famous red cord, transformed into a genuine red ribbon, which - in a feat of technology - is actually indented in the glass.
This distinctive shape also offers to MUMM lovers the possibility to store this cuvée in the cellar, this gaining complexity and fullness.

The blend of Cuvée Mumm Grand Cordon do the honors to Pinots noirs, sourced from the best crus, choosen for their structure and power. It pairs with the fineness and elegance of Chardonnays, and to the fruity roundness of Pinots Meuniers.
