Regarding the Champagne Chassenay d'Arce Confidences 2014
The quintessence of the House, the 2014 Confidences cuvée is a rare champagne, crafted from grapes grown on the vineyard’s oldest vines. Its blend consists of 66% Pinot Noir, 27% Chardonnay, and 7% Pinot Blanc. Nine years of aging on the lees enhances the complexity and elegance of this exceptional cuvée.
Considered as a superb vintage with great potential, 2014 stands out for its remarkable acidity, combined with beautifully ripe grapes. This balance allows the wines to retain a pleasant freshness while developing a generous and harmonious aromatic profile.
Its aromatic profile captivates with an elegant nose featuring buttery notes and ripe yellow fruits. The palate, rich and harmonious, reveals hints of honey, yellow fruits, and candied citrus. A lovely freshness and subtle salinity elegantly extend the tasting experience.
Ideal for special occasions and gourmet meals, the 2014 Confidences pairs wonderfully with blue lobster à la plancha or an 18-month-aged Comté cheese. Serve it between 10 and 12 °C in large white wine glasses to reveal its full aromatic richness.
