Regarding the Champagne Veuve Clicquot Réserve Cuvée
Champagne Veuve Clicquot Réserve Cuvée is a rare, refined interpretation of the famous Brut Carte Jaune. A true tribute to the House's savoir-faire, this cuvée reveals all the power of Pinot Noir (50-55%), the finesse of Chardonnay (28-33%) and the roundness of Meunier (15-20%). The liqueur de dosage, made from a Brut Carte Jaune aged for twelve months in oak foudres, adds extra roundness. The result is a champagne with an assertive personality, combining balance, intensity and elegance.
Under its dazzling golden highlights, the color reveals a fine string of delicate bubbles, the promise of a refined effervescent. The nose opens with aromas of peach, apricot and pear, subtly blended with notes of vanilla, spice and fresh Viennese pastry. On the palate, the texture is ample and silky, carried by toasty, praline and toasted flavors, prolonged by a finish of rare intensity. The 10 g/l dosage enhances the wine's aromatic richness without compromising its freshness.
Served between 8 and 10°C, Champagne Veuve Clicquot Réserve Cuvée is ideal as an aperitif or with a refined dinner. It goes perfectly with delicate smoked salmon, white fish or tender, melt-in-the-mouth free-range poultry.
The disgorging date is indicated on the back of each bottle. Prolonged ageing for 6 months after disgorgement brings additional texture and maturity. Kept away from light, in a cool, stable cellar for 3 to 5 years, this champagne will reveal all its complexity over time.
