This Grande Dame is an ode to Pinot Noirs. After more than 8 years in the cellar, the 2015 vintage offers us a champagne full of elegance and tension. 2015 is an exceptionally sunny vintage.

The 2015 blend is made from eight of the House's historic Grands Crus, with 90% Pinot Noirs and 10% Chardonnay. It reveals a fresh, mineral nose with notes of jasmine and pear. On the palate, the aromas are more complex, and the texture silky.

La Grande Dame 2015, a feat of the Maison Veuve Clicquot, reaches the paroxysm of refinement, without relinquishing its legendary power.

It is a champagne of character and great elegance that will divinely accompany vegetables and fresh fruit.

Its ageing potential is immense, at least fifteen years...

After her husband's death in 1805, the famous Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, nicknamed "the Veuve Clicquot", acquired some of the finest vines, creating an exceptional winegrowing estate that today covers 515 hectares.

The "grande dame of Champagne" also innovated, creating the first blended rosé champagne. Since 1877, the House of Veuve Clicquot has dressed its bottles in a distinctive orange-yellow label, with an anchor, symbolizing hope, as its logo.

At Clicquot, the style is anchored by the Pinot Noir grape, which gives rise to some of the most prestigious champagnes. Veuve Clicquot Champagnes are fruity, harmonious and chic. Flasks of gastronomy par excellence, for which the House motto is: "Only one quality, the very first".
