The Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2013, a mythical cuvée, is the quintessence of Maison TAITTINGER.

This champagne is a 100% Chardonnay, from the five villages classified as Grand Cru of the prestigious Côte des Blancs: Cramant, Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly and Oger.

It is only after a very slow and patient raising period of nearly 10 years in the chalky cellars of Saint-Nicaise that this exceptional cuvée comes into the light. 

The opening of this 2013 vintage delivers on all its promises with beautiful precision and rare intensity. The lively bubbles are extremely fine. The nose reveals great freshness. On the palate, the sensation is invigorating, with beautiful effervescence. The finish tightens with notes of ginger and licorice. This delicate champagne reveals its dynamism and the purity of its aromas, revealing the minerality and salinity of the fabulous Côte des Blancs.

Established in Reims since 1932, the family-run Maison Taittinger owns more than 290 hectares of vines, maintained using integrated viticulture methods, 170 of which are ploughed and herbicide-free.

This champagne house, which demands impeccable raw materials, gives pride of place to Chardonnay, which accounts for over 70% of its vines, bringing freshness and elegance to champagnes that remain young for a very long time.

The House also stands out for its collaboration with famous artists such as Vasarely and Rauschenberg. Since 1983, 11 bottles of Brut Millésimé have been redecorated, forming the famous "Taittinger" collection.
