Regarding the Champagne Taittinger Les Folies de la Marquetterie

« Folies de la Marquetterie » is the very first cuvée from Maison Taittinger, founded in 1734.
It is elaborated from a blend composed of 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir, and sourced from the vineyard « Folies » which overlooks the birthplace of the family: the Château de la Marquetterie.

This cuvée unveils a beautiful yellow color, with gold/brown reflections. Bubbles are very pleasant and slightly crazy. The nose offers aromas of peach, citrus fruits and apricot compote enhanced with subtle notes of toasted brioche and vanilla.
The palate is of a great delicacy. It is subtle, structured and fruity, and devleops yellow peach aromas, alike the nose. The final is concentrated on woody and chalky notes.

This harmonious champagne perfectly pairs with strong dishes, such as a roasted meat, a fish in sauce, and even with cheeses such as the Chaource.

Each bottle of champagne Les Folies de la Marquetterie from TAITTINGER is presented in its free and elegant gift box.
