Regarding the Champagne Moet Et Chandon Grand Vintage 2012
Champagne Grand Vintage 2012 from Maison Moët et Chandon offers a great harmony between softness and freshness… despite a difficult wine year, 2012 turns out to be a very great vintage, such as 2002, 1989 or 1966 !
This vintage 2012 is elaborated from 41% chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir and 26% Pinot Meunier, with an extra-brut dosage.
Every Grand Vintage is original and unique, a personal and free interpretation of the cellar master, to reveal the exceptional character of singular’s years.
Grand Vintage 2012 is the perfect embodiment of Moët & Chandon’s Grand Vintage spirit. A spirit based on three fundamental values : freedom of interpretation, selection of the year’s most remarkable wine, individuality of the vintage for champagnes characterized by their maturity, complexity and charisma.
With 7 years of cellar aging, the nose offers white flowers aroma, followed by softer and pastry notes.
On the palate, champagne is supple. The texture unfolds, silky and fluid, and then leads on a tangy and iodized finish. Simply superb!
2012 : a very great vintage presented in a sublime case !
