Regarding the Champagne Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2008
This Cuvée de Prestige is the flagship of Maison TAITTINGER. It is elaborated the greatest years only and is exclusively sourced from Grands Crus. Champagne Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2008 from TAITTINGER is assuredly a great Rosé champagne.
Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2008 is composed of 30% Chardonnay Grands Crus from the prestigious terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, and 70% Pinot Noir from Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, to which is incorporated 12% of Pinot de Bouzy which has been vinified as red wine.
It draws its nobility from a long raising period of more than 12 years, offering us a silky and tasty balance. 2008 is characterized by its freshness, tension, purity, salinity, fineness, and aromatic precision.
The gourmand and fresh nose unveils aromas of raspberry, black cherry, peach and pear. The palate is fine and precise. With its exquisite freshness, the palate develops a beautiful aromatic purity leaving a lingering impression of delicate salinity.
A champagne for celebrations and ceremonies, having the qualities to be enjoyed at any time, during a meal on a pigeon or a lobster, or to accompany a dessert such as baked pears, a red fruit gratin, or even an old Comté cheese.
A legendary cuvée of rare elegance, which will improve admirably on the forthcoming years.
