Discover the all new Cuvée Brut from Maison LOUIS ROEDERER : the cuvée Collection. In the endless pursuit of perfection and sustainable methods, Maison LOUIS ROEDERER created the cuvée Collection 242. 242 stands for the 242th blend of the Maison.
It is elaborated from the 2017 harvest, and completed with 10% of reserve wines raised in wood casks and sourced from plot’s selections (2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), and 34% of Maison LOUIS ROEDERER’s perpetual reserve (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).
This multi-vintage champagne is created every year, it remains unique and is always faithful to the style of Roederer. This cuvée is composed of 42% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Noir and 22% Meunier, it's just the perfect champagne to discover this great Maison de Champagne.
The blend of Collection 242 is mainly based on Chardonnay, which is marvelous for the 2017 harvest. The nose unveils sugared and riped fruits aromas together with woody notes. The palate is generous, voluptuous and juicy, and offers a very fresh final.
As cuvée Collection 242 is extremely fine and fresh, it is perfect for the aperitif. Moreover, its richness matches delicate dishes such as fishes and seashells. Each bottle is persented in its superb gift box.

Champagne Louis Roederer
Still a family business since 1776, the Louis Roederer House relies on a vineyard of 420 exceptional parcels on 244 hectares, 70% of which are classified as Grand Cru.
The vineyard is very diverse and a viticulture of revival is applied with soft and virtuous practices inspired by permaculture. A large part of the estate is already converted to organic farming(it is the largest AB certified area in Champagne).
Despite the worldwide success of its prestige cuvee, Cristal de Roederer, the company has remained in control of its supply, which is based almost exclusively on its own vineyards.
Already present on the tables of Tsar Nicolas II, Louis Roederer champagne is still synonymous with excellence and three million bottles are shipped worldwide each year. These are great champagnes, harmonious, focused on purity, straightness and a rich aromatic mosaic.
