Regarding the Champagne Bollinger Grande Année Rosé 2007
Grande Année Rosé 2007 is the Cuvée de Prestige from Maison Bollinger, being elaborated from a blend of a subtle red wine combined to a great champagne.
Indeed, this cuvée is composed of 92% Grand Crus and 8% Premiers Crus to which is added 6% of the highest quality red wine sourced from the famous "Côte aux enfants" (unique plot of Pinot Noir Grand Cru from Aÿ).
Grande Année Rosé 2007 is exclusively elaborared from the cuvée, with 72% of Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay, with a cask fermentation only.
BOLLINGER's Cuvée de Prestige is elaborated the greatest years only, and 2007 is simply exceptional, revealing a champagne characterized by a great freshness, with a strong fruit expression. This champagne spent twice more time in cellar than what is imposed by the Appelation rules.
Grande Année 2007 offers fine and delicate aromas on the palate, such as mirabelle (cherry plum) and kirsch. This cuvée is ideal for the meal, and brillantly accompany a duck filet or guinea fowl.
It is probably one of the most beautiful rosé champagnes in the world. Each bottle is presented in its free gift box.
