Regarding the Champagne Cattier Clos du Moulin Brut 1er Cru Magnum

Champagne Clos du Moulin Brut Premier Cru is exclusively sourced from the Clos du Moulin plot which is the flagship of Maison CATTIER. This champagne is one of the world’s most exclusive cuvée, sourced from a single plot, it is therefore very rare and every magnum is numbered.

This elegant and complex champagne is elaborated from 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. This Cuvée De Prestige is always sourced from 3 selected vintages, according to their quality and aging potential. This cuvée was raised in cellar for 8 years and its sugar dosage is 6gr/l.

At first, you can notice extremely fine bubbles. The nose is elegant and unveils citrus, dry apricot and white chocolate notes. The palate offers a nice freshness with lemon and red fruits aromas, and finishes with roasted notes.

This magnum of champagne is aimed to the greatests occasions, and perfectly matches with lamb, lobster or even with soft-paste cheeses.

The CLOS DU MOULIN in magnum has an exceptional aging potential (8 to 10 years).

Champagne Cattier

Maison Cattier is an independent family business, today managed by Alexandre Cattier, representing the 13th generation of vineyard owners dating back to 1625. The House, based in Chigny-les-Roses, cultivates today 33 hectares acquired throughout history, mostly classified as Premier Cru and located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. It also owns one of the first true clos of Champagne, the Clos du Moulin, a magnificent parcel of 2.2 hectares planted half with Pinot Noir and half with Chardonnay, acquired in 1950. The House has been producing its exceptional wines since 1916 and the first bottles were marketed in 1918. Since then, the Cattier House, still independent and family-owned, perpetuates its age-old know-how in the greatest respect of the environment to elaborate its champagnes with a generous and fruity style.
